The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has officially released the results for the Class 10 board examinations of 2024. During a press conference held today, Dr. VP Yadav, Chairman of the Haryana Board of School Education, shared detailed insights into the examination outcomes. He highlighted that the pass percentage for the Secondary (Academic) Regular Examinations stands at 95.22%, while for the Swayamsevak Examinations, it is 88.73%. Out of the total 286,714 candidates appearing for the Secondary (Academic) Regular Examination, 2,73,015 successfully passed. Additionally, results marked Essential Repeat (E.R.) were issued to 3,652 examinees, indicating the need for a re-appearance in the examination.
Breaking down the district-wise performance, Dr. Yadav mentioned that Panchkula district emerged with the highest pass percentage, whereas Nuh district recorded the lowest. Moreover, he highlighted that government schools achieved a pass percentage of 93.19%, while private schools surpassed with 97.80%. In terms of rural-urban disparity, the pass percentage for rural students stood at 95.24%, slightly edging out urban students at 95.18%.
To facilitate timely dissemination, Dr. Yadav announced that schools/institutions could download the results from the Board’s website using their designated credentials. However, he emphasized that schools failing to receive results promptly would be held accountable.
Additionally, candidates can access their results by providing essential details such as roll number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth. Alternatively, they can use their roll number and date of birth for result verification.
Furthermore, Dr. Yadav disclosed the results for the Secondary Open School Annual Examination-2024, including Fresh, Re-appear, Marks Improvement, Additional Subject, and Mercy Chance categories. For instance, the pass percentage for Secondary Open School (FRS) examination was 23.61%, with 9,014 candidates appearing and 2,128 passing.
