नई कर व्यवस्था के मुख्य बिंदु:
- कर मुक्त आय सीमा में वृद्धि: अब वार्षिक आय ₹12 लाख तक के व्यक्तियों को आयकर से पूरी तरह छूट दी गई है। साथ ही, ₹75,000 के मानक कटौती (स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन) के साथ, वेतनभोगी कर्मचारी जिनकी आय ₹12.75 लाख तक है, उन्हें कोई कर नहीं देना होगा।
- आयकर स्लैब में संशोधन: ₹12.75 लाख से अधिक आय वाले व्यक्तियों के लिए नए आयकर स्लैब निम्नानुसार हैं:
वार्षिक आय (₹) कर दर 0 – 4,00,000 शून्य 4,00,001 – 8,00,000 5% 8,00,001 – 12,00,000 10% 12,00,001 – 16,00,000 15% 16,00,001 – 20,00,000 20% 20,00,001 – 24,00,000 25% 24,00,001 से अधिक 30% - मानक कटौती में वृद्धि: वेतनभोगी कर्मचारियों के लिए मानक कटौती को ₹50,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹75,000 कर दिया गया है।
पुरानी कर व्यवस्था की तुलना:
पुरानी कर व्यवस्था में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है, और इसके आयकर स्लैब निम्नानुसार हैं:

- टीडीएस और टीसीएस में संशोधन: वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए ब्याज पर टीडीएस की सीमा ₹50,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹1 लाख कर दी गई है। इसके अतिरिक्त, किराये पर टीडीएस की वार्षिक सीमा ₹2.40 लाख से बढ़ाकर ₹6 लाख कर दी गई है।
